What's with the URL?

Some of you are wondering where the website name came from?
Others are wondering what happened to the dog shirts?

The Shirts

After rescuing Oliver, we discovered that little poodles were easier to keep neat with their hair cut short. However, then we found that he got cold at night. He soon had a collection of shirts. But we wanted better fitting shirts with designs that reflected our interest in wine.

The Reality

Producing shirts in small quantities with custom designs was expensive. There were few people willing to pay enough to make a profit. So the business never broke even and went under before long.

The Website

Since I owned the URL rights to Spoiled Grrrapes for the next several years, I used it as my author site when I published my first book. And I like the quirky name, so I intend to keep it.
